TATA TEXTILE MILLS LIMITED (the Company) is a public limited company incorporated in Pakistan on April 15, 1987 under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 and in 1991 a most modern Spinning Unit consisting of 19,200 Spindles was setup for the manufacturing of Cotton Yarn. The TATA' Brand quickly became the standard for the yarn market. TATA TEXTILE MILLS LIMITED is now listed on Karachi and Lahore Stock Exchanges. The registered office of the Company is situated at 6th floor, Textile Plaza, M.A. Jinnah Road, Karachi, in the province of Sindh. The principal activity of the Company is manufacturing and sale of yarn. The Company's manufacturing facilities are located at District Muzaffargarh, in the province of Punjab.

Within a span of only 6 years of its successful operations and production, TATA TEXTILE MILLS LIMITED received ISO-9002 Certification in 1997, being the first Spinning Mills in PAKISTAN to get this certification. Again by the grace of Almighty Allah in 2005, TATA TEXTILE MILLS LTD became the first USTERIZED Textile Mills in PAKISTAN and within next 4 years only i.e. in 2009, it achieved OEKO TEX Standard 100 Certification which is continued till date. Recently in 2014, TATA TEXTILE MILLS LTD. successfully passed the Corporate Social Responsibility Audit by SGS PAKISTAN.

In 2014, TATA TEXTILE MILLS LTD. successfully passed the Corporate Social Responsibility Audit by SGS PAKISTAN. With effect from July 01, 2021, Tata Textile Mills has entered into a new phase on its path to growth and strength by merger of all its textile assets approved by Sindh High Court under which, Island Textile Mills Limited (ILTM), Salfi Textile Mills Limited (SALT) and Tata Energy Limited (TEL) stand merged into Tata Textile Mills.
